BP is killing the gulf. And we have allowed it to happen just for the pursuit of money and power.

At least the cap on paying damages has been lifted. Pictures don't show how bad it is, and I don't want to go down there.

They don't exist. It takes 4-6 months to outfit one. Moreover, we don't want BP to use ships sailing under a flag of convenience (E.g., registered in Liberia or Panama) because the safety inspection standards are notoriously lax.
Will the Gulf ever be the same again?
Yes, if Mother Nature has to kill us all in the bargain. Over time, nature repairs itself; it's just not particular about what it takes to get the job done.
