Republican presidential candidates hate the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). They would rather have people like Amy Ward declare bankruptcy and/or die.
At a tea party-sponsored debate this week, front-runners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney vowed to sign executive orders exempting states from enforcing it. Michele Bachmann bragged of working for its repeal in Congress. If either of them had been President, Amy Ward would have had to declare bankruptcy and most likely died.
No, Republicans will NOT send flowers to the funerals of people who died from lack of health coverage. Not unless said flowers were paid for by the survivors of the deceased. The American People do not want their hard-earned tax dollars paying for flowers for deadbeats who hated Freedom so much that they couldn't even be responsible for their own medical care.
ReplyDeleteFunny how you Liberals always go back to the same old play book . Republicans are for dirty water, polluted air, and dead poor people .
ReplyDeleteGuess what, it ain't working this time . Obama's goin down and takin your whole party with him .
This stuff makes Obama's base feel good, but the rest of the country now knows they screwed up royally in 08.
Well, witless, you know what? Republicans are for "dirty water, polluted air, and dead people". You are right!
ReplyDeleteOK, maybe I should say "for". Republicans put money and profit ahead of "dirty water, polluted air, and dead people".
ReplyDeleteJerry Critter ,
ReplyDeleteObama is playing to you guys right now. Firing you up . The rest of the country is waiting for solutions, not more division .
Enjoy your last hurray. 3 years of class warfare hasn't worked, it won't work now . You cannot declare war on American business and think it won't run the nation into the ground .
Can you say, the second coming of Jimmy Carter ?
LOL! witness, you are a hoot! Thanks for the entertainment.
ReplyDeleteBoehner and McConnell would never send flowers to the likes of Amy Ward, dead or alive, because they don't see her, don't know her and could not care less about her. Ditto for people like her — complete nonentities to Republican pols.
ReplyDeleteWho do Boehner and McConnell know? They make it their business to know — and really care about — people like UnitedHealth CEO Stephen Hemsley. His income last year was $48.8 million, but in 2009 he raked in a tidy $102 million. Hemsley is the kind of guy who can drop a lot of money into Republican campaign coffers, so he counts, big time.
S.W. Anderson,
ReplyDeleteAren't you being hypocritical ? President Obama just made a money stop in California, where a bunch of rich Liberals greased him. Pretty good for a State that is functionally bankrupt.
With you guys it's do as we say, not as we do .
Is Alan Grayson the ugliest guy in Congress ? No. That's right, the Florida voters threw him out of Congress.
