My crap -- not your crap. It might be political, social, or personal. If you don't like it, leave. Comment if you want. I might reply or I might not, but I do read them.
You are a Peace Patroller, also known as an anti-war liberal or neo-hippie. You believe in putting an end to American imperial conquest, stopping wars that have already been lost, and supporting our troops by bringing them home.

Small world. My dream the night of 9/11/01 was just like the one in the comic strip. I was wishing and hoping and dreaming (name that tune) that our country would go trillions of dollars into debt in two wars that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks. I also hoped we'd go trillions more into debt by giving even more tax breaks and subsidies to the wealthiest 1% of the population.
ReplyDeleteMost of all, I hoped and prayed that a bunch of braindead useful idiots would fan the flames of hatred and bigotry, causing the country to become more polarized and divided than any period since the Civil War.
And all of my dreams came true! There IS a god.
That's cartoon puts a lot in perspective. If there was more space, it might've mentioned ensuring Big Oil access to and favorable contracts for the biggest untapped oil reserves in the world. It might've mentioned settling a score with Saddam for hiring a hit man to get Bush 41. And, it might've mentioned the prospect of ensuring Bush 43's re-election for having been Glorious Decider who was victorious in a nice, neat little war that would be over with in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe country collectively lost its mind on 9/11. Just the fact that the Patriot Act passed 99-1 is proof enough.
ReplyDeletebin Laden achieved most of his objectives. And soon enough, we'll finish ourselves off, which will give him a .1000 batting average.
ReplyDeleteJC - Good one.
ReplyDeleteI'm against building more towers.
Haven't we learned our lesson?
I have seen little evidence that we ever "learn our lessons". Speaking of lessons, you don't happen to be a teacher, do you?
