Why Didn't You Get Mad

I picked up the following items over at a new blog that I started following titled The Best Article Every Day. The Teabaggers say they are angry. Why now? Why not earlier, much earlier?
  • You didn’t get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.
  • You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
  • You didn’t get mad when the president ignored the clear and timely warning that terrorists were going to hijack planes and fly them into the WTCs.
  • You didn’t get mad when the weapons inspectors, who said there were no WMDs, were ignored.
  • You didn’t get mad when hundreds of thousands of people died in Iraq.
  • You didn’t get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
  • You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
  • You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
  • You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.
  • You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.
  • You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
  • You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
  • You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.
  • You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
  • You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.
  • You didn’t get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich.
  • You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans…oh hell no.

Go to hell, Teabaggers! You have no credibility with me!

  3. It is ok if they create the destruction. But god forbid if they have to rebuild.
This is all about power, ignorance, racism, and fear of the unknown.

  4. You have no credibility with this bogus list...

Yeah, Bush had warning of 9/11 as did Clinton. Wait, they didn't have one report of an attack, they had 10,000 conflicting reports sorely lacking in detail!

The supreme court stopped an ILLEGAL recount, and Gore tried to exclude military absentee votes.

Cheney allowed them to dictate? How do you know? The meeting was SECRET, remember???

Plame was not a covert CIA agent. Had she been, Richard Armitage, a Powell assistant at State, would have been charged by the special prosecutor.

WE didn't let New Orleans drown. An incompetent and corrupt city government did, and the citizens were too benumbed by liberalism to know enough to get out of the way of a hurricane. Not my fault. Not Bush's fault.

I agree with you on the spending, the rest of this is liberal propaganda to cover Obama and the Pelosicrats' multi-trillion dollar spending spree, bribery and dishonesty.

Bush's wasteful spending and bumbling pales in comparison, but whatever fantasies you need to tell each other to make yourselves feel better...

  5. Hi Silverfiddle. Thanks for stopping by. I think you are right. We didn't let NO drown, but I am not so sure that liberalism should be blamed for people not getting out of the way of a hurricane.

On the other items, arguments can be made either way. You know where I stand and I think I know where you stand.

  6. Amen Silverfiddle.

Oh and get this. The Mormon Church was actually some of the first to help the victims of the hurricane, as they are every single time there's a catastrophe. Their system is of helping others is the best around. You remember the Mormons Sue, the ones you just got finished bashing with a plagiarized post that you deleted and then back pedaled around?

  8. When it comes to the baggers I think it is more about racism than it is about issues, although they won't admit that...

  9. Critter: Yes, these are eternal issues that will never die.
