What?!? Republicans and Conservative Democrats Sucking On The Public Tit?

From an interesting article at Truthdig.com titled: "Michelle Bachmann: Welfare Queen"

"Republicans and conservative Democrats bitch and moan about the allegedly Marxist underpinnings of universal health care and do everything they can to deny struggling Americans access to social services. Meanwhile, many of them profit off taxpayers in a massive welfare program."

The massive welfare program? Farm Subsidies! How much have their families collected between 1995 and 2006?

Bachmann -- $251,973

Chuck Grassley -- $1,000,000

Sam Brownback -- $500,000

Max Baucus -- $250,000

Blanche Lincoln -- $715,000

Stephanie Sandlin -- $844,725

Socialism? It depends on who gets the money.

"According to 11 years’ worth of Environmental Working Group data that tracks $200 billion in subsidies, the wealthiest 10 percent of “farmers” have collected 75 percent of the money. That’s exactly the kind of socialism that Rep. Bachmann and her elite ilk like."

  1. Talk about being blind.. You take the cake and you eat it as well.

What a blind and stupid idit you are to write a bias blog like this one then the democrats are stealing the country from beneath us..

Wake up and smell the death of our nation! IDIOT

  2. Oh WOW, Anon. You are right. I see the light. Thanks for your enlightened comment. It is sooo intelligent. Yes, I smell death all around us.

  3. I think that anonymous guy is a farmer Jerry.

I get that nonsense where I live. Farmers can do no wrong. They work the land and feed the world. They vote republican and hate welfare and other government handouts. But the damn roads better be able to support a full combine and the government better give them set asides and supports for their prices or else. Then the Democrats do and these assholes still vote republican.

  4. Anon -- LOL! Idits, I don't like'em myself -- way too... crunchy(?)

Jerry, so Bachmann is into farming... Who wouda thunk? She does not have the vibe.

Those ridiculous farming subsidies are very popular. I saw a long list of famous subsidized farming names, which included such people as ABC's Sam Donaldson and others like him. Yep, regular country folk in need of guvimint's help.
