Man, these guys just keep writing ads for the Democrats.

    He said that over and over during the 2008 election. Not those exact words, but that was the underlying message.

    The Republicans did what they always do (the Democrats do it, too - just not as much). They overplayed their hand and they ended up looking troglodytic. Schiavo 2.0, basically.

    The Texas Rangers' baseball pitcher? I don't know anything about him, so am clueless as to whether he really had it right or not.

    As for McCain, I do think he really had it right (with the comment about Republicans being dumb).

    Nice of McCain to come out and admit it. And Obama's quote about just running clips of the GOP debates verbatim as part of his campaign sounds like a pretty good idea... reflects exactly what you said at the very end of your post! 8-)
