  2. Yes, but Obama is communist/socialist/Nazi/fascist/nihilist/radical/liberal. Imagine how much better this would be if John McCain were president.

  3. Oh yes. John "the fundamentals of our economy are strong" McCain. My imagination is not good enough to imagine how much BETTER off we would be if he were president.

  4. Okay. Okay!! I know it's not on topic. But I received this from a friend today. And feeling a little bitter about having to spread more wealth around yesterday than I really cared to coupled with the fact that I was a HUGE FAN of Red Skeleton back in the day. (I always plagiarized his jokes for the entertainment of my 7th grade history class.) I just thought I'd share it.

  5. We would be a better country if everyone understood the pledge as Red Skeleton did.

I also found it interesting that although he acknowledges the addition of "under god" to the pledge, he did not say "under god" when he recited it near the end of the video.

  6. "Under God" wasn't part of the pledge when Skelton was in 7th grade. Two things the teabaggers don't want is to pledge their worldly goods to anyone but themselves and one unified country greater than the individual states. Did anyone read about this idiot in Oklahoma that wants to form a militia to defend the state against the federal government?

  7. While I see no harm in saying (or not saying, for that matter) "under God" in the pledge of allegiance, teabaggers and everybody else should remember that ours is a democracy, NOT a THEOCRACY! And Obama has saved this economy, even though we have a long way to go to get it really straihgjtened out. If given power, the Republicans will destroy it, plain and simple...

  8. K, regards the idiot in Oklahoma, that is the STATE LEGISLATURE. Yes, the state legislature, that wants to meld various "patriot" groups in Oklahoma to protect the state from federal guvermut interference.
Talk about nuts running the nuthouse.

  9. Look. It was just a moment. I loved Red Skeleton. I appreciated his clean humor. Plus, he was funny and never resorted to vulgarity. I wasn't necessarily seeking to have it dissected and analyzed.

And I'm not a "Tea Bagger", although I agree with many of their positions. Are you a wacked out liberal, zombie, pinko, commie socialist?? What do you have to gain from interspersing your comments with insults to those who are attempting to have a fair dialogue and exchange of ideas?
