My crap -- not your crap. It might be political, social, or personal. If you don't like it, leave. Comment if you want. I might reply or I might not, but I do read them.
Hi Jerry - I am not a Republican - and God knows I am not fan of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Newt Gingrich, and all the other loud mouth conservatives who attempt to shove their religious right down my throat -- however, I don't think the split of these two kids has anything to do with Republican family values any more than Bill Clinton cheating on his wife more than once, or John Edwards cheating on his wife.
I think it's about people regardless of party affiliation making choices right or wrong.
Do I think kids have a better chance at a happier life with a two parent household. Indeed I do, but I don't think kids need to be getting married just because they are "supposed" to.
So with the do as I say, not as I do mentality -- both parties do it. It's been shown time and time again.
I think the kids probably had no more of a chance of staying together than most other teen parents. Political necessity forced them to play happy couple and when that was gone, nature took it's course. At least the child is in a family that can afford to take care of it.

Both parties do it, but only the republicans have made "Family Values" a political catchphrase.
